Okay, I am a little confused.

I migrated to Linux to implement a NAT-like solution for use with a cable modem connecting our office to the Internet. I was told that Linux, using IP masquerading, would be a good solution to connect many LAN (illegal) IP addresses to one static Internet IP address.

Someone suggested that UDP packets for gaming would not flow well using IP maquerading, and suggested a NAT solution.

Comments, help ?
