- two example setups are in the ipnatadm manpage
- 'weight' is implemented for the algorithm 'byte' only
- the algorithm 'conn' is not implemented yet

About the latter two missing features: each is just 5-7 lines of code, the reason that its not implemented yet is because I'm a lazy guy and have had no reason to start XEmacs again (in vi-emulation mode, I hate pure XEmacs commands, but the syntax highlighting is superb), because nobody seems to use the module anyway, when I count the responses ;-(

Well, it has been downloaded a lot, but that doesn't count, I'd like to _know_ what you're doing with it! I'm not satisfied merely by watching the access.log.

About bugs, to give you a feeling, here is one:

  • you can add/remove hosts from the virtual server rule during 'run-time', i.e. while the virtual server is being used
  • when you do with algorithm='byte' the newly inserted server has a byte-counter of 0
  • since there's currently no way to reset these counters via ipnatadm the new server gets _all_ the connections until the byte-counter is the same as the others

This doesn't make it unusable, but it shows how much thinking must still go into the matter, since this is just one example I'm aware of, and I don't use it at all except for tests.
