Hi,

I have problem compiling the ipnatadm even with the latest download. The problem is the <linux/ip_nat.h> include header which cannot be found. Then, I copy the ip_nat.h to my current directory and change the include marcro to "ip_nat.h" but still have a lot errors.

I believe the problem is the "linux/" include files within ip_nat.h hit on the glibc-2 problem again.

Anyway, the ipnatadm binary is working on my RH Linux 5.0 (2.0.33 kernel).

One more question about NAT router to the NAT client. It seems that the NAT router cannot ping to the translated IP address. e.g. I use

# ipnatadm -O -i -b -S 1.1.1.1/32 -M 134.109.192.223/32

NAT router cannot ping to 134.109.192.223. Is it a limitation or I am missing some routing information within the NAT router? But other host can connect to the NAT address by simply adding a host routing entry without adding any routing information within the NAT router!

I am also encountering problem using proxy arp but notice that there is a patch available for arp code (not NAT). Therefore, I will try to find the patch and see how it works.

Thanks, Joseph
