Sure I've read it, but i didn't find (maybe i didn't understand it) what i was looking for.
So, let me explane you what is my problem. I've got a gateway, whit one NIC, and a private net with 10 computers running Win95. I'd like to have the ten Win95 go outside and appear on the net with different (public) ips (I thought 2 Win95 for each public ip) and ,obviously, they have to receive the answer from any internet host (this means not only that my gateway can send internal traffic out on the net, but also that my gateway must receive the tcp/ip packets going to my Win95s and must redirect this packets into the internal net).
So: is this possible with NAT (i'm sorry to bother you, but i haven't already received an answer to this problem)?
These are the problems i can't give an answer to (after reading the documentation):
1 - Can NAT receive (and translate) packets not addressed to it (my public ips are many, but my gateway address with NAT running is just one with one ip address)?
2 - If yes, what i have to tell to my router, using route table, to have NAT receive this packets?
3 - If not, can i use linux aliasing and NAT to use many public ips on only one gateway (running NAT)?
4 - If not, or in any case, what other solutions are you thinking about for this problem?
If you think i didn't understand what NAT is, please let me know it and give a tip to understand it.
Thank you in advance for your kindness.
