Location of my Home

This is the location of my second home in San Ramon, California. Again, this page is intented for friends of mine who'd like to drop in. The gates to the apartment complex is closed before 6 am and after 8 pm, and you need a radio transmitter to get in, or you call me from the gate, there's an Intercom, and I can open the gate from my apartment.
From Highway 680, take exit Crow Canyon Road to the West. Stay on Crow Canyon Rd. until you get to Deerwood Dr, see the last map below. After turning onto Deerwood Rd you can already see the Promontory View apartments on top of the hill, left side of the road you're on. For pilots: Cancel IFR (because there's no IFR approach, sorry) and continue VFR to my apartment, you can use any runway. There's no tower. Use Bay Approach for Radar services... My new home airport is Livermore (see map). It's pretty big for a GA airport, with some jet traffic. There's even an ILS. Korean Airlines has a training center there. I currently take aerobatics lessons at Attitude Aviation. Among other planes (most of which are certified for aerobatics) they have two Pitts S2B, one with 280HP.
Parking at Promontory View: Park outside, not in the basement, that's for residents only!

From where I live to the Peninsula (the West Valley, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Mountain View,...) it takes between 30 and 45 minutes. Don't try any Highway East->West on workdays in the morning, and the other direction in the afternoon, or you'll get caught in very heavy traffic, and it'll take a lot longer to get to the other side of the Bay.
