I saved my company (Siemens-Nixdorf) more than 1000$/month by moving out of the 2200$/month apartment in Mountain View they had selected for me (15 miles to work) into a shared 1550$/month (775$/month +1/2 utilities for me) 2 bathroom/2-bedroom apartment. I saved on the daily commute (2 miles to work and no Highway to cross).

We had a "Round Table Pizza" for dinner.
