Hi *, i'd like to make a question about NAT. i've seen it's a great product and maybe can do this job. i would like to masquerade 10 machines in a private net (192.168.1.x) in 5 IP address of public net (say 195.99.135.64 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.240 - I have 8 IP addresses). These 5 IP addresses will be aliases of just one official IP address with a ether card connected (say the real IP is 195.99.135.66 and the others - from 195.99.135.67 to 195.99.135.70 - are aliases of the main address). I've already tried with Linux masquerading and i think this is not possible (the problem is the aliasing of the IP address that doesn't allow the masquerading). Is it possible with NAT to map two private IP addresses on one public aliased address? Thanks in advance. Ennio Porro ennio@interform.it |
